Who is Sarah Nutting?

Sarah Nutting was my grandmother's grandmother. She survived her adolescent physical disability, learning to paint while confined to bed. She cared for her husband after he was severely injured and supported her family of seven children (a daughter died at age two and two sons were "feeble-minded.") She was an art professor at Wheaton College for over 30 years. She shared her faith in God throughout her life. I hope to honor her memory by using her name as my pen name.
